Acknowledgements

We would like to acknowledge the support and encouragement provided by the many LNG import/export terminals who have assisted in the compilation and subsequent validation of this data, and in many cases have hosted a site visit to review the port information compiled, and who continue to support and make us aware of changes that affect LNG ship operations in their ports.

We acknowledge the support received from the SIGTTO General Purposes Committee, who carefully considered this product for the LNG industry at their General Purposes Committees in October 2014 and April 2015. We further recognise the support that was given to this project by the SIGTTO Board of Directors when it met in May 2015 and for the opportunities that SIGTTO afforded this project to present at panel meetings and regional forums around the world.

We acknowledge the support of the SIGTTO membership of LNG ship operating/owning companies and terminal operators for the valuable contributions that they have made and continue to make to this unique source of LNG port information.

We would like to pay notable thanks to Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co Ltd (DSME) for the information and support that they provided.

Recognition goes to those independent consultants who provide their valuable insight into the LNG import and export terminals in their respective regions of the world.

We acknowledge the valuable contribution that has been made by shipmasters and officers serving on LNG carriers in the compilation of this information, particularly regarding the navigational aspects of an arriving or departing LNG carrier.
